The city of Cologne has a high level of entrepreneurial potential, which is not least supported by universities and research institutions.
But the IfM researcher still sees potential for development compared to other cities such as Frankfurt, Munich or Düsseldorf. To illustrate his point, he cited the number of overnight stays in the hotel industry or the number of start-ups in high-tech sectors.
