How do small and medium-sized enterprises develop in Germany – and in Europe? Are SMEs in Germany facing the same challenges as small and medium-sized enterprises in other EU countries? The new SME Development Indicator of the IfM Bonn provides answers to these questions.
Starting now, IfM researchers will produce the SME Development Indicator every six months based on the Europe-wide "Survey on the Access to Finance of Enterprises" (SAFE), which is carried out on behalf of the European Commission and the European Central Bank.
