Prof Dr Dr h.c. Friederike Welter (IfM Bonn/University of Siegen) honoured the 25th anniversary of EXIST start-ups from science in her keynote speech in Berlin at the beginning of June. She highlighted the development and significance of the state funding programme: "EXIST is making an important contribution to driving forward the transformation of the economy in Germany. This can be seen in the increasing number of start-ups that are prioritising impact measurement, green transformation topics and social business goals."
The IfM President is Chairwoman of the "EXIST" Expert Advisory Board at the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
