Dr Rodi Akalan showed in his presentation at this year's Interdisciplinary Annual Conference on Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs (G-Forum) in Ingolstadt at the end of September how text mining can be used to identify opportunities and threats for SMEs at an early stage.
Dr Sebastian Nielen's presentation explored the research question of whether gender plays a role in the financing of start-ups. In another lecture, Dr André Pahnke explained the extent to which the current international crises are affecting the global value added of German SMEs.
