IfM-Materialien | 2025 Practice checks - an effective instrument for reducing bureaucratic burdens?

Companies have long complained about many regulations' lack of proportionality and practicability. One reason is that the experience of the companies concerned has so far been insufficiently considered when reducing bureaucracy. This is precisely where the practical checks currently being tested by the German government should come in. We analyse the potential of this new measure for reducing bureaucracy.
